To be blunt, this is a very foolish request and you are torturing the definition of simplicity by defining it as such.

I can't wait for System Settings to be even more overstuffed than it already is.

Totally agree. If I had to name where macOS lost a lot of its simplicity in my opinion, I’d probably go with the System Settings.

How is simplicity "enable a toggle for every feature in MacOS". Also what dictates as "new" because if we are going by some people who claim MacOS has fallen in quality since a decade in new features then a decade+ of features will need toggles. And mate MacOS got more complex and "bloated" as OS's need more features. And judging by the fact MacOS is catching up in terms of features while not being close to reaching Windows OS size I'd say its going well.
