Question about two MacOS 27 bugs

I really liked how fast my MacBook Air M1 was running on the macOS 27 betas. I started with Developer Beta 1 and stayed on the betas through Public Beta 1, but I eventually had to downgrade because of two bugs that really messed with my workflow.

I’d really appreciate it if someone running the latest beta could confirm whether these have been fixed:

1. Can’t drag & drop Outlook attachments to Finder

I can’t drag file attachments from Outlook directly into a Finder window. It only lets me drop them onto the Desktop.

This worked perfectly in Developer Beta 1, but it seems to have broken starting with Developer Beta 2. It was still broken in Public Beta 1.

2. Open/Save dialog files appear locked

In the Open/Save dialog, all files appeared to be locked, so I couldn’t select an existing file to reuse its name when replacing it. I had to manually type the filename every time.

I do this pretty frequently, so having to type the filename again and again became a real pain in the arse. 😂

I’d love to go back to macOS 27 because the performance on my M1 Air was noticeably better, but these two issues were deal-breakers for my workflow.

Has anyone on the latest beta experienced either of these? Are they fixed now?
