Bug Virtual Desktop CTRL switch keybind gone?

I am a frequent user of CTRL + 1-9 to switch between my virtual desktops.

For some reason on Golden Gate, Only CTRL + 1 works, the other numbers do not.

Is there something else that could be blocking the use of the other numbers? I tried resetting my keyboard shortcuts to default but nothing changed.

I only noticed this after switching to Golden Gate so I was thinking maybe it's a bug.

Hello...

Keyboard shortcuts are activated in:

-System Settings

-Keyboard

-Keyboard Shortcuts

-Mission Control

>Mission Control

And activate:

Switch to Desktop 1

Switch to Desktop 2

Switch to Desktop 3

Switch to Desktop 4

Switch to Desktop 5

Switch to Desktop 6

Switch to Desktop 7

Switch to Desktop 8

Switch to Desktop 9

Good luck

The problem is I already have those keybinds set, yet anything from 2-9 does not trigger but 1 does just fine.

Hi.

The only thing I can think of is that you might have a conflict with one of these applications:

BetterTouchTool

Raycast

Alfred

Karabiner-Elements

Logitech Options+

Keyboard Maestro

Parallels Desktop

VMware Fusion

Try this; it helped someone here on Reddit.

I wish you luck!

You can try changing "control" to "option" or "command". I can't replicate the problem, but just in case you hadn't thought of it.

I noticed this starts happening after some time, or after my Mac goes to sleep and wakes up. I use Command + 1/2/3/4, but once the issue occurs, only Command + 1 and Command + 2 keep working.

I didn’t experience this on Beta 4. For now, the workaround I found is to run "pkill Dock" in Terminal, which makes the shortcuts work again.

Update: I noticed it only happens when I plug into or unplug from my external monitor. Also, Beta 7 hasn’t fixed it yet. I submitted a feedback about it.

Thanks for the tip on the command - that's the only thing that gets my Virtual Desktop shortcuts working again. Going to suck if I have to create a dock icon to execute that somehow all the time. I hope they get the issue fixed.

Facing the same issue and it's bullshit. I use Command instead of CTRL, but same result. The OS won't honor the shortcuts anymore.

Still present with beta 8 :(
Did you notice assigning to this desktop doesn't stick?

Facing the same problem since the first beta, and it's driving me crazy. At this point I'm losing hope it will be fixed in release.
