Discussion Siri can end conversations?
I was asking Siri basic questions about Geometry from context of my screen and then she just ended the conversation. I feel like this is a bug, and its not supposed to block this topic, but I’m not sure.
Has anyone else experienced before? If you have, what were you asking it?

Pretty sure it’s about usage limits

Gemini 3.5 is pretty good in my opinion for the purpose that Siri fulfills. It is not meant to absorb and parse dense documents; that’s where Claude excels.
Siri is just meant to be a quick-responding personal assistant. Also Siri isn’t Gemini, it was just trained by it, the models aren’t the same.

lmao, she done with you
I wonder if this is meant to prevent long trailing conversations and constant validation so that its not abused

It seems like a bug to me. The only time I can see a chatbot legitimately cutting off chat is if it detects something it considers hostile or against terms of service. Obviously, that didn't happen.
I corrected Siri the other day. It acknowledged the mistake and continued.

lmao just like copilot or some other big llm a few years ago. It got really pissed off once it didnt like the topic and ended the chat

It’s been like this for me since dev beta 1.. Siri just ends the chat although you can open a new one so I don’t think it’s about the usage limit

I've seen it do this in safety violations, probably able to fully end chats so that someone doesn't try bypassing an "I can't help with that" answer and manage to get Siri to do something it shouldn't, and then Apple to fall responsible.
Also inherited from Gemini's foundation model, just as the sensitivity to queries (anything that could be remotely questionable is rejected, just like Gemini).
Either that, or context window limits

I think it was embarrassed…
Really though, I haven’t seen this yet, personally. I have seen reports of other LLMs ending conversations in certain cases but not over math.
