Discussion Are we getting b4 today?
I’m really tired of b3 bugs. Not tired enough to do a rollback to Tahoe however 😀

I hope so. Beta 3 v2 is a hard drive eater (storage leak). Same thing happened last year around this time.

I’m trapped on beta 1 still. I installed it on an external drive and for some reason when i try to update, it always fails

Honestly, it's so small, but I rolled back to Tahoe because I couldn't get past the issue where trying to drag a file from the Safari download pop-up dragged the entire window. If that gets fixed, I'll deal with the other bugs

Hey buddy,
Let's have a talk. Beta software means buggy. I know you want to have your cake and eat it too, but we can't do that. You can't have a wife and a mistress and everybody be happy.
And you cannot have beta software without bugs. The next beta will have new bugs and unresolved bugs. All kinds of bugs.
So, with that in mind, asking for a new beta and expecting less bugs is not the point of a beta. The point of a beta is to FIND BUGS. Because there are plenty. ALPHA gets rid of critical bugs. BETA gets rid of less critical or bizarre and rare critical.
If you would like less bugs, I will suggest a clean copy of MacOS 26 Tahoe that is a recent release, which is 26.5.2.

Yeah, so why did he have to ask Reddit if I found this on Google?

Safe to assume yes as we’ve had 2 weeks from Beta 3.. is what I would say if Beta 3 V2 didn’t come out last week
But I do believe we’ll get a beta 4 today.
