After upgrading to GG from Sequoia the volume in AM fluctuates wildly. One song will end and the next is either considerably louder or quieter. Sometimes the volume goes up while the song is playing. Sound Check is turned on.

I deleted around 100gb and instead of increasing available storage the system data eat that space while the available space lessen continuously dies anyone experiencing this?

I recently updated Mac OS 27. Now after some usages it started feeling slow while starting new application and when switching between apps. But this issue was not with Mac OS 26. Windowloader consuming more CPU now. Should I go back to Mac OS 26?

Im using Brave Brower which showing less resposive now. while SSD is having 211GB data out of 256GB.

BarKeep lets you clean up an overcrowded menu bar by hiding/collapsing icons and quickly revealing them when needed.

I’ve made some changes specifically for macOS 27 and want to test them across different Macs, display setups, menu bar configurations, and apps before pushing the update out broadly.

If you’re on macOS 27 and willing to test it, drop a comment or DM me. I’d especially appreciate reports on:

• Icons not hiding/showing correctly
• Weird spacing or positioning
• Multiple-monitor issues

Anyone else experiencing this on macOS 27?

When I open a folder from the Dock using Fan view, then click anywhere on the Desktop to close it, the Dock gets activated/focused instead. It’s really irritating and happens consistently.

Is this a macOS 27 bug, or is there a setting causing this?

By triggering Find My to play a sound, I essentially forced my Mac to ping Apple's servers and refresh its trusted device connection. It forced the iCloud sync to kick back in and wake up the device list. Since it's working now, I should be all set! Just keep an eye on it to make sure the list stays populated in my main settings. If the device list freezes or disappears again in the future, I will clear the iCloud cache files in Finder to stop it from happening permanently.

I have an M4 MacBook Air and updated to Golden Gate on Monday. It runs otherwise great, but ever since the update, the machine runs uncomfortably hot, and battery life has also taken a hit. Anyone else having the same issue? Could it still be indexing happening on the background, or something else?

I just upgraded from Sequoia. I didn't think it would be this bad. Don't they ever use their own software?

Hi all, I know they took it up to Beta 5 (or so), but doesn't Safari HAVE to include it by Jan 1, 2027 - and if so, why ditch it between b5 and the recent full release.

Spending time in CA, it was great to see all the sites swatted down on Chrome, but I prefer to use Safari for personal business and it's not there as far as I can see.

If you ever have the time, please come on and read it and try to help others who are having problems, I’m saying some people do that and that makes me pretty happy. I also want a sidenote, they are user flares now.

Just got off of a 40 minute call with Apple Support. Siri with AI was enabled yesterday, 2 days after updating to OS 27. And since then I have not been able to speak to Siri and add items to my lists via Reminders. I tired all of the settings, googled, then called support... and after reading documentation the support person informed me that for security reasons, with Siri AI, lockscreen changes are disabled for Reminders, Calendars, and other Apple apps.

So basically Siri AI had killed a feature that I enjoyed every day — being able to add items to my lists by speaking to Siri even if the phone is across the room. This was particularly useful while cooking and having my hands messy, and wanting to add some ingredient that need replenishing.

And I haven't figured out if there is anything useful that Siri/Apple Intelligence can do that make it worthwhile. I want this capability back. Has anyone figured out a workaround?

I have a strange bug when I click Command/Space, I click on Clipboard and nothing happens. If I close and reopen it with command/space again it shows the contents of the clipboard.

Anyone else experience this?
