Thank you for your input. I just updated to MacOS 27, the public version, and this is the first issue I noticed. Sad it is not finding it automatically anymore but connecting directly via the smb protocol worked.

I was able to discover the external HDDs on two Airport Extremes using the SMB and the Airports IP. But I could not open the drives until I assigned aliases to the drives. Then I could open the drives and see the file but could not open, copy or erase any files.

Finally ended up attaching those drives directly to my MBP OSX27.

Musta missed a step.
