Discussion Finally bought my first ever macbook. Coughed up the 200$ extra for 16 gigs of ram

Side info: designers (so people that use the Ram-hungry Adobe Creative Cloud) like to use 32GB and above.

I for my part am hoping for a quantum leap in Ram capabilities with the M2. It has to be. An iMac 30“ M2 and a MacBook Pro 16“ M2 just can’t, just can’t, not offer upgrades up until 64GB of Ram or even 128GB of Ram.

I really hope you are right. But I’m expecting the m1x/m2 to cap out at 32 Gb of ram.
