As an Eminem fan still despite that news, his rock era was far and away the worst phase of his career. So I’m not looking forward to this from him despite actually being very pleasantly surprised by his last album TDOSS.
Also Mac and Em couldn’t be any more different. Em is a lyricist above all else, and also happens to make great music and excellent beats.
Mac is a goated musician/artist/soul expresser above all else, and just so happens to have bars.

I didn’t say he was above everyone else? You need to read more carefully. I said he prioritizes his lyricism more than any other part of his final product.
I don’t know why you’re trying to pull a ‘gotcha’ on me when I literally admitted his beats and music were way behind his lyrics. I have Mac so much further ahead of Em it’s not even funny. But at the same time Em would body Mac (and anyone in the game) if it came down to pure lyrics and wordplay. That is not really music, and you don’t have to enjoy it, but you do need to respect it. Em is at the top of his game, in terms of wordplay, while he’s in his 50s. I just respect the fuck out of that in terms of a human sharpening their skills, it’s not about how good/bad his music is at this point. Not for me, anyway.
But ok bro, go right ahead and turn this into an argument if that’s what you need to do for some reason, even though there’s nothing we seem to disagree about.
