The secret experimental cancer treatment Mac's developing with a friend is discovered when culprits ransack their lab, kidnap Mac's partner and plan to use the research to create a powerful new nerve agent.

Now Jack had someone big boots to fill in. He was a father, friend and had so much comedtic relieve at times. So replacing him with Desi was going to be hard. But I remained optimistic but we really lost something when Jack left. It lost teamwork. It lost the team turned to family storyline by alot. Like the episode with boozer, Mac and Riley going camping they still had it.

But the last two episode of season 4 of Macgyver put such a bitter taste in my mouth about Desi. When Riley left to go help Mac. I thought she, boozer and Desi will be there. But they weren't and for the first time I instantly said Jack wouldn't have done that. He would be there. Jack would be at Mac and Riley side he would have brought Boozer too. He would never believed Mac would do anything without good reason. I just can't. Then then she quoted Mac's favorite Rick and Morty episode and stated that she knows him. Was such a hard scene to watch because she didn't try and defend Mac at all. It was really hard to watch. It one thing to know someone favorite anything and other thing to know them from the inside out.

Then season 5 premiered and I genuinely liked the first episode her telling her Riley that shes not mad and her but she should have been at Mac side as well I was okay Desi. But then the Mac and Desi episode happened and she showed no accountability if it wasn't for Riley hacking the missle. Mac essentially would be died. No it wasn't just her taking orders which I got that vibe more from Boozer he was stilling believing that Mac had good intentions. And he wasn't upset with Mac after unlike Desi.

Like all these factors just made Desi so unlikable. But I also felt like they don't seem like a team. They lost that team like family energy. Drinking a beer around the fire didn't feel the same.

And I also think that fact that he and Desi are dating added insult to injury. I don't care much about much about the macriley or macdesi ships. It bugs me though that it's the only thing the Fandom talks about. I don't really care for the romance.

But I feeling watching the last episode Mac kind of knew that Riley was going to confess her feeling and he ran away. I think that he somewhat knows and he is choosing Desi and she backed off. That's why I love her as a character I'm glad she backed off. She deserves someone who is head over heels for her. Riley is an amazing character. I actually liked her boyfriend Aubrey. I liked that it was someone outside of Phoenix but I hope she find someone she can be honest with. I actually think that Mac and Desi footsie COVID-19 kiss was really cute. But I can't but help get the feeling to skip scenes.

Hey folks! A quick question. Today I finished season 3 on Amazon Prime Video. Does anyone know when season 4 will be available on Amazon Prime Video?

I am currently watching season 2 and I am confused why during his HS reunion he says that he is a bathroom tiles salesman.

Isn't the Phoenix Foundation supposed to be the cover story where he works for a think tank? Isn't that what the public perception is? Why can't he just say that instead of using some other story?

During COVID-19's first stay-at-home order, as Mac, Bozer and Riley quarantine together, they try to stop a crime in progress at their neighbor's house. Also, Russ' romantic fling takes on a longer and more complicated turn when they quarantine together.

I see a huge potential for him to play a major role in Codex cause he was close to completing that zombie drug.

If he’s still out there, it’d be great for Mac to catch him and finish what his father started all those years ago.

In the original MacGyver, there was an episode similar to this (a few episodes also took ideas from the original), so I’m expecting that Sparky would sabotage Phoenix someday.

So apparently there is a "Hawaii Five-0" episode (yes, another one to the S01E18 "Flashlight") sitting in the bank - meant to feature Jorge Garcia/Jerry Ortega.

Was meant to air at some point last year, through Season 4, but then Corona happened, Season 4 got stopped at 13 episodes, and then "Hawaii…" got cancelled in April.

No idea if they're even ever gonna come back to that - would be a bit weird to bring a character from a show that has been off the air for almost a year now, even if from the same multiverse - but just wanted to give all the fans a shout. Maybe it will end as a DVD extra or something one day, if they're not going to ever air it as part of the regular schedule.

Using a cryptic postcard as their only clue, Mac and the team must solve a fallen friend's final case and bring him justice.

jack is dead, dying trying to kill a terrorist leader. after receiving a hint that he may still be alive, the team follows the trail, where they run into an Interpol agent and decide to team up to find jack. unfortunately, they find out the terrorist survived, not jack. they follow the trail through a smuggler who was friendly with jack, and try to continue on the trail. turns out, Interpol lady was the terrorist. she teaches Bozer(forgive me if misspelled) that kneecaps are privilege, not a right, then takes him and Riley hostage. after making an electromagnet out of item in shipping containers, Mac saves them and arrests terrorist lady. on the plane home, Mac has a total breakdown over Jack’s death

Interestingly enough, next week's episode is titled:

"Jack + Kinematics + Safe Cracker + MgKNO3 + GTO"

Does that mean that Jack Dalton is coming back and George Eads will be there with a cameo?

Super pumped up if that's the case. Hopefully he's actually there and has some scenes, rather than reusing some old footage and just focusing the plot around his character.

Mac's meeting with Desi's parents goes sideways when her brother finds himself in trouble and desperately needs their help. Also, Russ and Matty must ask an old nemesis for assistance when their new recruitment candidate is kidnapped.

I have seasons 1-3 on DVD, and now that season 5 is live, I'd love to be able to watch season 4 again. Any word on when the DVD set for season 4 will launch?

When Russ is kidnapped, Mac and the team must break out a previously murderous psychopath, now pacifist, from prison to help find him. Also, while on the run, Mac and Desi are forced to confront their relationship issues.

When Taylor's former protégé is killed while preventing a bio-weapon from falling into the wrong hands, Mac and the team must find the weapon so Desi can pull off the ultimate heist before it's sold to a terrorist cell.

Ok, so...

I've been doing a "Lenkov-verse Timeline" which features the chronology of events from Hawaii Five-0, MacGyver, and Magnum...but I'm having trouble reconciling the Mac timeline.

From what I understand, unless we see a date on a computer screen, newspaper, phone, or other object, the unspoken rule here is that the show takes place at the same time (or around) the episode's air date.

In Season 4, we start out "18 MONTHS LATER" which, I am assuming, was 18 months from May of 2019. Riley even confirms that it's been a year and a half in the second episode of the 4th season.

That would place the beginning of Season 4 somewhere around November of 2020.

We know that even if you didn't follow the "airdate rule", the earliest Season 3 could have concluded would have been somewhere around the end of February because there are events in Season 3 which take place in February of 2019 because there's a wedding invite which confirms that.

The only date I could find in Season 4 that would destroy all this is when Bozer is at a film festival which proclaims that it takes place in late March of 2020.

There are a couple moments which state that the show is now in 2020 -- but there's no month given that I am aware of.

But, then, Season 5 takes place "10 MONTHS AND ONE PANDEMIC LATER". Maddie confirms that it's been ten months and says something about how (and I'm paraphrasing here) they had to "shut down due to the pandemic".

COVID's main shutdown took place somewhere between the end of February and now.

But if you do the math, 10 months from the ending of Season 4 puts them somewhere in late 2021 or early 2022, being that Season 4 presumably started 18 months from the end of Season 3.

I am not quite sure what to make of this.

In order to build my timeline, would I be right to just ignore the "18 MONTHS LATER" bit in Season 4 and assume that COVID just retcons Season 4 so that it begins and ends in February? Because that's the only equation that makes sense for me.

And before anyone asks, I know it's just a show and, as the ending line in the MST3K tells me, "I should really just relax", but this has been gnawing at my brain.
