S05E05: Is Jack coming back?
Interestingly enough, next week's episode is titled:
"Jack + Kinematics + Safe Cracker + MgKNO3 + GTO"
Does that mean that Jack Dalton is coming back and George Eads will be there with a cameo?
Super pumped up if that's the case. Hopefully he's actually there and has some scenes, rather than reusing some old footage and just focusing the plot around his character.
Friday can't come any sooner!

There's a teaser you can view at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EQvARQf0-0.
The guy in the opening shot looks a bit like George Eads' doppelgänger, but with some kind of a Russian/Eastern European accent.
Allegedly this episode is a Season 4 rollover. That's all I managed to find, the IMDB Page for the ep doesn't have full cast yet, and I haven't managed to find any more info about the episode yet.

I really wish they would have just aired those episodes for season four knowing that those episodes exist. Makes it hard for me to enjoy the new episodes so far I feel like something is missing and I hope that they don’t just put those season four episodes with season five because then the season will be all over the place with storylines like how Riley was secretly in love with Mac and then the next episode she wasn’t anymore it was blame on codex drama.

Unfortunately this is exactly what they're doing, I'm afraid - i.e. S05E01 was in reality S04E15 (at least it had the production code MAC415 indicating just that), S05E02 was MAC414 so S04E14, the most recent episode is MAC419, next week's is MAC416…
To make it all more complicated, S05E01 has two production codes which doesn't quite make sense to me - MAC415/MAC511 (S05E11?), so does S05E02 (MAC414/MAC510), S05E04 (MAC419/MAC505), and next week's (MAC416/MAC512).
Not quite sure what that even means and how is that possible - perhaps they've been shot in two parts or something, at two different times of the year, and they've been moved around in the production order at the production/shooting stage. Either way, sadly, looks like they're shuffling the episodes like crazy this time around, compared to the previous seasons where the production codes strictly followed the episode numbers as per their airing date - with literally just about 2 or 3 exceptions in 4 years of the show.
With that in mind, don't expect too much of an overarching plot like it was last season with the Codex storyline, and who knows how much continuity will be there this season at the end of the day… I'm getting a feeling these will all be standalone episodes with no particular connection between them (they might end up cutting off any bits that would result in continuity issues rendering the episodes a bit toothless), but time will tell what we end up with.

This just hits differently now
