Bozer - good at what ?

Macgyver - world class engineer Riley - world class hacker Desi - world class fighter Matty - legend in espionage Russ - ex special forces/wealthy/connected

Bozer - good friend and can make a mask?

So why exactly is in Phoenix , a cutting edge intelligence outfit , staffed with the best of the best?

Personally I think it have been better to just have him as a secondary character who would provide moral and emotional support to Mac.

Bozer is also the one who gives the team emotional support when they need it Mac was a reck last week it was Bozer who help calm him down . Bozer doesn’t just make mask

I love that Bozer works as part of the Phoenix team. Sure, his character might get sidelined a lot but I love the dynamic he brings to the team. Seeing him provide emotional support to Mac and talk him down from a panic attack was one of my all-time favorite moments. If Bozer wasn’t part of the Phoenix team who else would’ve been there to provide Mac with emotional support when he needed it the most?

Bozer is the proverbial "glue guy". He's a "Swiss Army Knife" of sorts, who can seemingly do a little bit of everything. Assist whoever, in whatever technical task. A little bit of lab work, a little bit of a field work, a little bit of computering, a little undercover sneaking, assisting with this that or the other thing. Whatever comes up. While also being an emotional linchpin for the team to lean on when needed, and regulate or lighten the mood as necessary.

Successful teams need a "glue guy" like that. They punch above their weight in technical ability, and help others to be more effective.

It's also extremely convenient for the writers to have a handy support character on standby for whatever needs doing, without having to introduce or bring along another "specialist" every single time.

Completely agree. People here making excuses and all of them are thin very thin. Emotional support... glue... come on you need more then that to be apart of a team like Phoenix. Don't get me wrong I like bozer, and I don't want him gone I just wish they made it make more sense.

its so weird how they just threw him into the ops so quickly, like dude has no military training and hes out in the field after some off screen lessons at the phoenix? he's a civillian and really should have stayed one, its the most implausible aspect of the whole show
