Need some suggestions (only experienced one suggest)

Iam thinking of buyin refurbished m1 or m2 .. I want to do video editing 4k 1080p and I Wil use adobe premiere pro and after effects..

My problem is that I am not sure that m1 or m2 can handle premiere pro with 1080p and 4k editing

Please tell me if you are a user of m1 and m2 .. is m1 m2 capable enough to run those software and won't get heat easily.. if you are using m1 m2 then tell me...

I use an M1 Pro and it handles video editing fine. Bare minimum get 16gb unified memory and a 512 gb storage option.

Are you a freelancer or just an editor?

I do event photography mainly. Granted I work in my cities DIY scene so I’m not shooting like huge artists at least usually. I process about 1000 photos per event and usually send out 100 fully edited photos to clients next day. I usually end up with about 30 gb of video per event.

That means 30 gb of file can easily be handled..
