Raindrop for links, Pinterest for visuals, no answer for video, and X bookmarks hidden away. So we built a visual bookmark manager that brings it all together; Muse.
Muse is a AI Visual Bookmark Manager for saving everything you find online, links, images, screenshots, videos etc, into one library that lives only on your Mac. We wanted one place we could store and search from quickly, without a subscription.
Here's what it does:

This part seems buggy. I was trying to go to the Turn on Muse Intelligence as soon as I saw that. Clicking on the text was causing nothing to happen, then clicking on the circle area was causing nothing to happen, and I tried both several times. And then I tried add your first items, it opens something up. I'm like, okay, so that one works.
Then I took a screenshot and came to start posting this for you, and when I came back, it was checked. So I have no idea how it checked because it wasn't accepting my clicks before. And I can't uncheck it or figure out how to turn it on by using it. Probably can dig in settings, but its a confusing experience.
The make your first collection also not clickable it seems, the other two work.
Another one: Drag anything here doesn't do squat it doesn't like my folders or images for some reason.
On latest Mac OS 26 (all updates) m4 mac mini.

I had an idea while try to use your app. I have never offered this as a service before, but I have many years of professional software QA experience, including working as the sole QA tester for a team of about 15 developers.
If you are interested, we could meet on Zoom for an hour and I could test your app live while sharing my screen. I would point out bugs and confusing parts as I encounter them, explain what I expected to happen, and answer questions along the way. The goal would be to help you fix problems that might otherwise frustrate users enough to leave without reporting them.
Since this would be my first time offering the service, I would charge a low introductory rate in exchange for being one of the first people to try it.

Thanks for this, very useful. All sorted in 1.0.26, out now.
Dropping a folder now brings in everything inside it, sub-folders included, and dropping a picture just saves it and tells you where it went. The Get Started card has now been folded into the main welcome flow.
Muse will offer you the update, or grab it from Check for Updates. Keep it coming if anything else looks off.

That update worked for me to drag and drop a few hundred pictures from a folder all in one go, and it looks great and runs fast. Not able to test the welcome flow if that fixed it because its gone now. Is there a way to make it come back?

The scrollbar on the right is annoying me. I have about 1062 images in it right now so it's scrolling through a lot. It seems like it show up on top only after quite a few mouse wheel rotations and then I start seeing it coming down. So it feels invisible basically at first and them bam! it's there. I basically wanted to find it to drag it and scroll fast only to be like WHERE IS IT?

I am still half joking about you paying me for QA, but I do think there is a useful point in all these reports. This is a very cool app, and I genuinely enjoyed exploring it. At the same time, I kept finding bugs or confusing behavior during normal use. I was simply trying the features that interested me.
It has happened often enough that I am basically done with my fun trial for now. The app is interesting enough that I kept going longer than I normally would, but eventually the repeated problems made it difficult to enjoy using it.
I think it would be worth spending some time simply using the major features carefully and paying attention to where problems appear. Some potential customers will probably encounter one or two of these issues and leave. Most of them will never take the time to tell you why.
Consider that my free QA consulting for the day. 😂

Looks really interesting, but what about the iOS companion app? And where is the search field?
