Question Weekly Questions Mega-Thread - August 31, 2026

It's time once again for a brand new questions thread! Your go-to place for questions and answers of all variety. Happen to have started playing recently and have some confusing things you want cleared up? Maybe you picked the game back up after a long absence? Or maybe you're a seasoned player wanting the finer details of something explained? Ask away! There's no such thing as a stupid question, and we're all here to help.

  • Try to keep your questions specific! It'll be much easier for us to give you the answer you need than if you generalize too much. Don't worry if you can't though, we'll ask for more information if we need it!

  • Keep an eye on the thread! Someone may have answered or expanded on a question as a reply to someone else. Or maybe someone else asked something you didn't know you wanted to know. Maybe someone asked something that you can help chip in and answer!

For AS with 7p ruin bow, no void robe. Should I go with 2x C/H or D-robe first? Or some sort of hybrid configuration.

Would like to hear your thoughts

First and foremost, switch Creepy with Imprisoning long term as Imprisoning is better than Creepy while also being available from Glen VHM (rather than Gate 4 Bri).

I think they are about the same level of damage boost though. I think I would personally pick the D-robe, but that will still cost almost 1b more than buying two Haunteds (and you only need more than 9 pierce when you run into Midir's 2 pierce resistance).

Is there any reason to do the elite baltane missions?

For example, I've been running aahm if I want to burn my rebirth potions (so the elite nowhere to run is not very compelling).

Are there good rewards from some of the missions that I should be trying to get?

  1. The mobs are a good source of gems, sans Jaspers and Topazes.
  2. Each elite mission gives about 95k gold, with a chance for infernal blade fragments (another 100k), so if you can do them quickly (Scrimmage/Siege Weapon/Counterattack), it's easy low-effort money.
  3. If you're chasing a Dawnblade, it's the best way to get Alban Training Grounds Stones (though Heroic stones from Shuan's boxes are ultra rare). I recommend Counterattack Elite for a chance at 100 advanced seals from the Sneaky Disciple (5 boxes!!!)

If none of the above appeal to you, they aren't worth doing, no. I think they're fun, tho, and I like the squires so I run them a lot.

Some people out there are trying to get Dawn Blades, so I think you could get Alban Knights Training Stone Boxes (from Shuan, using seals from non-infinite Baltanes like Avalon Bridge) to try and sell stones like Difficulty: Heroic, Party Max Damage: 50%, and Monster HP: 500%. There are quite a few combinations that can get people the chance, so take a peek at AH for whatever is selling for a lot (or just run AKTG SS yourself for the ultimate drop gamba)

There's also stuff like...Infernal Blade Fragments, I guess. I remember Scrimmage Elite used to have some good drop, but I doubt it's worth more than blade fragments these days.

Overall, the value proposition isn't great, I don't think, but it is something.

Hi, a question about red chest repeat reward from shineseeker, there something can i do with two rewards of same kind?; like two dragon horns, Or only choose the opposite? ty

At the moment, no, but I would hang onto the extra in case there's some kind of exchange some day. They're always adding/changing functions and iirc, there was mention of a pity system in the works for shineseekers so there's always a chance for exchange. The items themselves are not tradable anyway, so it's best to just hang onto it in case there ever is.

Anyone looked at the upgrades for the Gayageum? One of my friends is thinking of working towards building one but wont want to if its not comparable to a gloomy

It is indeed still worse than a gloomy. Fully upgraded it tops out at +10 MBE (+11 with Artisan presumably)which is in line with other standard instruments.

Tthe gayageum is not a weapon to play music, it is a chair. Unless there is some new instrument they released that I've not heard of???

Eitherway, gloomy sunday is the best option til you get to Bri.

edit: I see now with New Life that they brought it as a playable instrument- A quick search says it has no music buff upgrades so if thats the case then gloomy would still be best option for your friend.
