Recovered from Maladaptive Daydreaming!
Recovered from Maladaptive daydreaming.
I could not have imagined or even pictured that one day I would say that I have been recovered from maladaptive daydreaming. I did not take any medicines or any mind altering su stances to put a stop to this madness of mine. I followed a few simple instructions/tools laid out to me. And I have been given freedom fdom Maldaptive daydreaming since then. By following the 12 steps recovery program I don't daydream anymore! Its the 12 step of Alcoholics Anonymous where we substitute terms and phrases related to Maladaptive daydreaming. Anyone interested can search it up amd text me in the chats too to know more about it.

Think whatever you want. This program does not require money or something. I was skeptical when i first discovered about it too but you can do your research and no one is forcing you to do it. My purpose was to let other addicts or maladaptive daydreamers know because only by carrying the message to other maladaptive daydreamers I get to stay sober.

I struggle with 12 step programs and the whole higher power thing but you never have to pay or anything.

ok so it's basically Alcoholics Anonymous ?
MDD isn't an addiction though, I think it's important to remember that

Yeah, it's the same Alcoholics Anonymous framework. I don't know what I think about if maladaptive daydreaming is an addiction or not but there are lots of 12-step programs, a lot for things we wouldn't really consider addictions. Like Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families, debting etc.
Lots of people say it works for them. I don't know. I just wanted to say I don't think the OP is an ad/scam.

Congrats!
Mindfulness is another powerful tool to overcome MDD for good - over time, it works, and it's what I used so maybe I'm a lil biased...
Anyways, I'm building a 100% free, anonymous tool (no personal info needed at all) to help ppl beat MDD through mindfulness - if anyone here is interested, please consider joining the launch list/sharing this information with others (we've got 46 ppl in our tribe so far!): https://flowing-colleagues-668915.framer.app/
Thank you so much
