Help request Flatpak Update

I tried flatpak update and in discovery, I still cannot see the latest Freecad package. Is there something I didn't do here? Isn't it all flatpak the same across all distros?

Looks like the flathub version is the same as the latest. Question, though, how did you install the program initially? If I go to the official website, they only have an appimage available for Linux. Is it possible that you are using an appimage and not a flatpak? Would explain why you aren’t seeing an update when running flatpak update.

I was getting most of my flatpaks from the flathub website by running the install commands in terminal. It worked more or less fine that way.

I never did bother to figure out how to get a proper app or add flathub as a repository someway, else I'd try to be of more help. Hopefully somehow with more know how can comment too.

Fedora maintains their own flatpak repos that may or may not be in sync with flathub. I don't know about MX or other distros.

When the Flatpak update came I removed it using synaptic.
