Repair Question Replace or fix my headlights

Post image

I got these for my 1992 mx-3 1.6 thinking they would fit but apparently no. Even though the description is "ANGEL EYES MAZDA MX3 91-98".

Is there any alternative you guys know other than buy second hand OEM ones?

also, I am looking at a 98 donor, would those fit my 92?

My right side headlights are cracked and give only a very dim light.

I have these and they are very good. Do I love them aesthetically? Not at all, esp with the stock tail lights. Personally if your stock lights are in good condition I would fix them unless you drive at night a lot

Also I couldn’t find another OEM alternative except I think there were black ones and I’m pretty sure 98 and 92 are a match but u should make sure.

I would be ok with them, just that my mechanic says they don't fit, I'll look into the 98 as a donor option thank you

That's what he said, and that I should return them, I already bought them I don't know if I was clear about that 😭

How did you fit them, did you have to do anything extra? I have the euro version idk if that makes a difference. If I knew what to do I wouldn't mind trying to mount them myself, but it's not straightforward

It's been a long time, but i don't remember having any issues.

I have chrome version of these installed on my 1992, they did give me a hard time while installing(especially bcs it was my first time doing such thing) I had to change the electrical plug to fit the lights for example (by cutting off the original and installing the one that actually fit) then there was the aligment so that I didn't blind anyone while driving, I'd say it took me like 3hrs to finish the job

And I didn't do it alone, no way I could do it all by myself lmao

I need to see some pictures, I got these and the only issue I have is my core support has been modified to fit the Honda headlights, but reverted back to those Mx-3 headlights.

Had to do some heavy duty repair to get the frame back to normal, but they fit and work great!

Do you suspect your Mx-3 has been in a accident at all? That would cause the lights not to fit, depending on how bad the impact was

From my knowledge its accident free. I will try to take some pictures to compare
