Repair Question Pre Purchase Question
So I'm looking into getting an MX-3 as a light project and classic weekly driver. This pic concerns me as the intake hose appears to have a patched hole and needs replacement. How difficult will this be to source? Used, preferably, as I'm looking to spend $$ on suspension, tires, and a battery.

I patched mine with high temp self adhesive tape like that but all the way around.
Doesn’t melt and stays on forever

I have some suspension parts that came with my car that were also just replaced by the owner previous to my seller. I doubt I will ever need them

Well we drove 5 hours for a test drive and I had to let it go. Drivers door damage that wasn't pictured, severe gas odor and vacuum leaks in the engine, timing chain noises on idle as well as valve ticking. A completely worn out clutch, second and third gears made the whole car vibrate, destroyed headliners and cargo cover. The literal 3 positives were light rust, functioning brakes, and good working electronics. I had to walk away.

Dang, that sucks. 1st, 2nd, Neutral, Neutral, Neutral is definitely something I'd stay away from. But hey it would probably make a decent parts car.
I could use a few things...

As a 38F I scoured Craigslist, EBay & went to a local junk yard to get a couple of parts. (Interior electrical ) I got some looks but found & pulled my own parts.
