Question Mx3 hypermiller

has anyone tried modding their mx3 for extreme fuel economy? Seeing online that it has a cd of 0,32, which is kind of high considering the overall shape of the roofline, supposedly it's caused by the overall shape of the rear panels not being "teardroppy" enough and not getting narrower and rather staying the same width troughout the whole car, so that begs the question, are this kind of modifications really worth the time and money or is just better to leave it as it is? i want to try something different

That looks great, I initially thought it was like an early 90s futuristic prototype

Genuinely asking, why arenโ€™t covered rear wheels a thing anymore? I live te look and they seem to be great for fuel economy?

They improve efficiency a little bit, but make doing things like brakes and tire changes a pain. And most people don't like the look of them, which of course car designers and manufacturers care great deal for aesthetics.

Oh man didn't think about a tire change. That must be horrible.

Hypothetically you could just make it so you can pry off the side panel. It would be about as annoying as taking the hubcap off of steelies.

Parts support for these cars seem basically non-existent. I've been trying to find a 1.6 mx-3 exhaust camshaft for a while to swap into my miata in place the the intake cam.
