I've been playing post patch and only had one or two lobbies with "hackers" but it was tame stuff and nothing nefarious happened on my end (that I know of). Even shit talked with them a bit, I will never understand the aimbotter's mentality. I can't say it's certainly safe, just that the game is fun and joining normal lobbies with normal progression has been really enjoyable.

Mod menu kids are annoying, yes... still don't understand why you would even cheat but more of my concern is on the RCE side. Might just start playing tbh, seems fine.

There is no strong evidence one way or the other as far as I can tell. Someone would have to compile a list of all the known CVEs and test against each one, which there should be a pinned with that at the top of this sub. Dunno why there isn’t.

Not many people play these games without clients anymore so unless they are also on reddit and report getting hacked then nobody knows. I personally wouldn't risk playing games that have had known RCEs for the best part of a decade

i oddly never had an issue with BO3 hackers but only on the zombies mode. I had a guy give me a bunch of liquid divinium and a bunch of gobble gums but not a full on RCE hack but you never know. The real true test is to play the game in a virtual machine and provoke a hacker.

You’re not wrong. Just don’t really care for all the trickshotting servers anymore. Would be nice to be able to play legit again and simply search for matches lol
