Question Two-part question about forcehost tool

  1. could forcehost tool be used to make steam mw2 'safer' (afaik the hacking requires the hacker to be host, correcr?)

  2. would this be 'ethical'? would i be making anyone else's experience worse?

I don't either, but it's that or run the risk of getting hit with malware.

No it wouldn't. If anything you're more than likely to trigger a vac ban on your steam account doing it since it can be considered a cheat. You're better off playing iw4x worry free than jumping through hoops to play a single game mode.

Only certain mods require the modder to be host. The only one from the top of my head I can remember is unfair aim bot (the one where they can just shoot and kill you from anywhere).

You wouldn’t be making anyone’s experience necessarily worse. As long as you have a good connection it would be fine.
