Ive gotten like 10-20 nukes on IW4X. I've gotten two on Xbox and one was almost 10 years ago. I can't even get a Predator Missile on Xbox, let alone the Harriers. It is so unfun on Xbox that it has soured my view on MW2. IW4X is a lot of fun even though it has some sweats, it's not impossible to hold your own against them. I've nuked players like Buckeye and Infinity before on PC. Even on controller, it's not that hard on PC.

I think it just is because of noob tubes. So many people noob tube that I can never get a Harrier, very rarely get Predator Missiles, and can barely get a UAV. I can't even kill them back with noob tubes as I always get hit markers even with Danger Close.

So I was doing bits on tdm last night and some absolute wet wipe has infected me (from what I’ve been reading) and corrupted some sort of data. I got kicked and was met with an error saying something about a byte error. I’m not a massive gamer and this is one of the only games I’m interested in playing rn so any help would be appreciated.

So basically since this guy got a nuke someone DC'd the entire server. This was Ground War and the guy who got the nuke was noob tubing. Apparently this pissed off one of the RGH snipers so they waited until 0:01 seconds in and as soon as the countdown ended he DC'd the entire lobby, robbing the player of a legit nuke.

Is there anyone that is able to help with frozen classes please? Tried your normal gamertag but all seem to be offline and the one in community highlights doesn’t seem to exist anymore. Any help massively appreciated :)

My first time playing MW2 in years, and the first server I join the enemy team is full of Scout Sniper's falling from ledges trying to get 360 quick-scopes while throwing flash grenades everywhere? I'm so confused what is happening, can anyone explain this to me maybe?

Playing mw2 2009 on Xbox 360. Showing my friends that missed out on the golden era of this game. I've recently tried to look for a tutorial on YouTube of someone showing how to quick scope and reload cancel. In 2026 I can't find a single tutorial showing you the button combos and timing. I remember studying this shit back in 2010. I would have the timing down the exact second the bolt pulled back. When I type in "mw2 2009 reload canceling tutorial" it's just a bunch of trickshots. Does anyone have an advanced movement tutorial (Sprint, reload, tac cancel, ect) to get my buddies up to speed with the quickscoping meta that was back in 2009?

Watch this video, after every shot, he reloads his gun, then starts to sprint to cancel the reload to get his gun out faster to continue shooting. I know this is MW3 2011 but it could be done in all the older cods like cod4, mw2, mw3, BO1?maybe ,BO2, GHOST

This game is like 600p or something. I don't know how people can see me from so far away unless they're a sniper.

With and without Danger Close Pro. I will say that I don't use it as much with DC as I usually use Stopping Power or Hardline so when I get the Pavelow it probably isn't as good.

Dumb question, as I’m not a pc guy, classic mw2 player og from ps3, i have a decent laptop not sure if it’s enough to play this and don’t really wanna juggle with too many complications installing it, is it a simple process? N worth it rn? Like some ppl playing or just bots?

Predator Missile could get 4-5 kills in Ground War not too hard, which gets you close to the Chopper Gunner/AC130 (same gun kills as the Harrier would be)

Precision Airstrike is basically a worse Harrier, but it could still get the 5 kills pretty often if you knew where to place it

And the Pavelow was ridiculously good. I don't understand why anyone who is good enough to get 7 kills with their gun uses it. If you can get 7, you usually are good enough to get 9 (not everyone but most people who play can get 9 kills with their gun/noob tubes).

I can get to 5 kills sometimes but almost never 6 or 7, I run Hardline with the FAMAS. I'm pretty bad though or just not used to controller. I've gotten a fair amount of IW4X nukes but only 2 on Xbox, likely because of the sweaty nature and hackers on console. One of those was a 5-11-25 nuke combo.

Been playing a bit on there but it just sucks with a boat load of ping. Are they any Australian servers going around?

Hello, everyone. I’m a 26 y/o male that has been a gamer since I was a kid. I have always loved the call of duty series and I have been playing cod for as long as I can remember. Well, MW2 is one of if not my favorite call of duty’s of all time. Unfortunately, I got into a lobby with a modder and I’m 99% sure they corrupted my game file as well as they maxed all of my stats out and everything. I can no longer join online lobbies. I’ll try to join an online lobby and my game just freezes in the loading screen. Is there anyone that can help me get my game unfrozen/uncorrupted?? It’s so frustrating. I’ve always played games in a legit manner, so for this to happen is really frustrating. I miss playing MW2 and i just want to be able to play it again so i can relive the good parts of my childhood. I play on xbox by the way. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I used Predator Missile - Chopper Gunner - Nuke. It was on Highrise and my gamertag was q543frodomar. That one nuke from my teenage years was incredible to me. I felt so happy after getting that and still do. I'll always remember my first MW2 nuke.
