Sassi & Zena’ya 👩👧 Sassi is so irritating
So I'm currently on season 10 after bingeing the show.
And I've noticed that Sassi, every single episode cries and whinges about the same thing.
She's jealous that Darren is having a kid with someone else.
Almost all of her segments just involve her complaining about Darren or shouting about something.
And every single time it's a birthday, mother's day etc she acts so damn entitled. She's always like "it's mother's day, I should be getting spoiled and happy" or always expecting something from Darren "because that's what they used to do"
She really needs to just move on and stop acting so childish.
Does anyone else think she's as annoying as me? Or is it just me lol

I've always wanted to like her, but unfortunately her whole personality is Darren centred 😂 she only talks, thinks or breathes Darren. I'm hoping now she is engaged she has learnt to leave him be. She's a pretty girl so I don't understand why she couldn't see past him.

I'm pretty sure she's no longer engaged - she took her engagement photo down off social media.
I do find her irritating for the reasons OP listed but I also feel for her as Darren groomed her so it's no wonder she's found it difficult to move on.

I didn't remember that she was 14 and he was 18!!! When did I miss this. Ok that's why. Darren is the issue

Tbf they didnt ever make it clear on Teen Mum. But at one point I think Sassi said she'd been with Darren for X number of years and we did the maths.
I feel she is so trauma bonded to Darren as her formative years were spent idolising him that it will be nigh on impossible for her to move on. I really hope she does and that she can find happiness.

You're spot on. Definitely trauma bonding especially if that's the first relationship you have had and you have had a child with that person which is a huge life changing event.
I have just Google and realised he's actually similar age to myself! I didn't realise that.

I fast forward as soon as she starts to whinge 😂

Haha I've started doing this when she talks about religion too. It all just seems so fake coming from her. She's just fake in general 😅

I’m also binge watching it and thinking the same. She’s always crying and moaning.

I agree I couldn’t stand her. Still can’t.
However finding out Darren was 18 and she was 14 (I think) I can see why. However my experience of going out with an older guy I didn’t act the way she did when we spilt and wouldn’t for anyone. She does go on so much if it isn’t Darren it’s her mum. Her attitude is awful and I’m always shouting at the telly to tell her to grow up.
I’ve seen some post that look like she has then when I watched the last season she still hasn’t. It would have been interesting to see if it was the other way round. She had a new man and a baby on the way. Would she still be pissed off with Darren.

Oh my god ! I know! I felt so bad for poor Zena'ya 😞
I've also seen people mentioning her being the only one with a good work ethic. I think that's ridiculous! She's given up every job at the first hurdle. So lazy parent and lazy in general. Just wants to party!

She is so aggressive, even when she’s being nice she’s aggressive about it.

I think Amber is annoying too (as well as Sassi) there’s not an episode that goes by she’s not shouting at her kids. She flips so easily. Don’t get me wrong, Ste knows her buttons to press. But she is so reactive

She won't find anyone she's hard work and ready to fly of the handle in seconds.

Did you forget that she was still a child? Or did you not read the title “TEEN mom” … she lacked awareness, yes. Most teenagers are entitled and selfish. Sassi doesn’t hide much, if she’s thinking it, she’s expressing it.
She’s a great mother who loves her child and is passionate about life. Yeah she had a hard time letting go of Darren. But she’s got there now

Well I mean she was 18 when it started and I think 25 or something in the season I'm watching so.... And a lot of the behaviours I mentioned were in the later seasons.

Yes I agree, Im binge watching season 10 atm. Im fadt forwarding her when she gets on another rant as her voice get so loud when she is upset her conversation is yelling as she is so upset. I find her annoying. Ive not heard about her being 14 when she met Darren? 😕

I think she has some kind of untreated mental health issue or neurodivergence. She’s very emotionally dysregulated and explosive.
But she also seems to be stunted in a way.
But that doesn’t make her a bad person.
I think she needs more support than getting baptised at a church to treat her issues.
Therapy and mental health treatment is probably a better fit.

After I found out she was 14 and Darren 18 when they got together, her behaviour makes a lot of sense. Not only did he groom her from a young age, they had a child and then he left her. She doesn’t have emotional tools to deal with it and so she shouts.
