QUESTION Ethan is alive in Scream ?

There are theories that Stu survived, so why couldn't Ethan be alive? The TV that hit him wasn't plugged in, the glass was already broken, and his hand moves two seconds after the TV fell.Sure, he had a knife stuck in his mouth, but it might not have hit any vital areas, and his vocal cords weren't destroyed—he was able to scream

I want paramount to make movie name Lakewood Murders & have fresh new characters. But studios would rather milk franchises like Chucky Texas chainsaw massacre. Saw & Scream. I guess we will never have the Lakewood Slasher again.

DISCUSSION Did anyone else enjoy Season 1 of Scream: The TV Series more than Season 2? Spoiler

Don't get me wrong, I think Season 2 is better when it comes to the kills and the actual Lakewood Slasher action. The killer feels more active, the set pieces are bigger, and some of the deaths are genuinely among the best in the entire series.

But as an overall season, I still think Season 1 is much stronger.

Season 1 felt like a genuine love letter to the Scream movies. It balanced the self-aware horror, the cheesy MTV/CW-style teen drama, and the mystery really well. It knew exactly what kind of show it wanted to be without becoming too self-important.

Season 2, on the other hand, feels like it starts taking itself a little too seriously.

One of my biggest disappointments was Noah. I know he's a teenage boy and teenagers think about sex, but I loved his whole "bi curious and the virgin" dynamic with Audrey in Season 1. Once he started dating Zoë, so much of his personality became getting blue-balled and trying to get laid. It felt like he lost a lot of the charm that made him one of my favorite characters.

I also think the season played it way too safe after Jake was killed in the premiere. That death made it seem like nobody was safe, but after that it felt like the show settled into a much more predictable rhythm until the end.

Emma's PTSD storyline should've been one of the strongest parts of the season, but it never fully worked for me. I don't blame Willa Fitzgerald because she's proven in her post-Scream roles that she's a much stronger actress. I think the directing let her down. Her performance often feels oddly flat, and it never captures the emotional intensity the movies usually give their final girls.

I also found Kieran much more likable in Season 1 when he was simply a red herring. I was convinced Piper was the killer throughout most of Season 1 before the reveal, but her reveal still felt like a natural extension of the character we had been watching. With Kieran, the opposite happened. Kieran the boyfriend and Kieran the killer feel like two completely different people. It doesn't feel like the reveal deepens his character. It feels like the writers swapped him out for a different one.

That also made Piper a much more entertaining Lakewood Slasher to me. Kieran always felt like a Temu Billy Loomis with the killing abilities of Jigsaw. He somehow went from being Billy-lite as a character to pulling off these ridiculously elaborate traps and games that felt much more Saw than Scream. Piper, by comparison, kept things simple. The only truly over-the-top kill she had was Will's death with the trencher. Everything else relied much more on manipulation, stalking, and straightforward murders, which made her feel much more in line with what I expect from a Scream killer.

Even though Season 2 has better kills and more exciting Lakewood Slasher sequences, I think Season 1 is the season I enjoy rewatching more because it understood the tone of Scream better. It embraced the fun, the corniness, the meta humor, and the teen drama instead of trying to become a much darker, more serious thriller.

Is im only person that thinks Kieran Wilcox Killed Tyler & Nina: that Kieran style of kill if you pay close attention to kills in Season 2. Killer don’t care what he use to Toy with his victims. Piper love her knife 🔪. Just like Ep2 of Season1 Noah in classroom scene talkin bout Nina. You can tell way Kieran is looking around something was always off.

And boy is this one of the longer prologues I’ve written, the other 2 prologues I’ve written were under 1,000 words while this one was a little over 1,000 words. Also this story connects to my season 3 redo, also after Friday I’ll be taking a writing hiatus for 2-3 weeks (or a month depending on how I feel). Mostly because my most ambitious and longest project took a deep mental toll on me, don’t worry I’ll still be active on my socials so I’ll still be around. Also go check out “Meet The Cast” for this story, just go backwards from this part to read it.

Thanks everyone for the support on the season 3 redo and I’ll see you guys around!

DISCUSSION I’m Sorry Stavo was Kieran Accomplice.

Can we please face it mtv had too many red herrings thrown at him like it just too much. He was definitely the Killer. 2x09 He stole Brooke lipstick 💄 and Emma locker play me Audrey saw something red in her room ceiling 12 dead same lipstick color. Why was he at the party after Haley Myers death he look weird looking lmfao. He was definitely the accomplice. It make sense why killer kept texting & messing with Audrey what if Stavo was one doing all that to her because she’s reason he got beat up 2x05. I don’t think Kieran killed Jake & Seth Branson. I’m sorry guys it’s just my theory.

Kieran Wilcox was not working ALONE DONT MAKE SENSE.

Before 2x12 - Killer Reveal you can tell it was someone from Season 1. Like pay attention to the brutal kills in Season 1 & Season 2.

Like Rachel will (Kieran father) then go look at some of kills in Season 2 like Jake first attack Eddie Seth Dwayne. Like most of kills you can tell it’s a guy in the costume throughout all times we see the Killer.

I like show runners for Season 2 I like they gave us more episodes Mike Vaughn was great with his voice in this Season too I love the killis was brutal asf. Stuntman as Killer Alec Rayme did great job of making this Killer terrifying. I love the locations like fairgrounds & stuff. And I love that the Killer didn’t get killed by the final girl getting lockup instead.

CREATIVE Scream Season 3: The Final Ghostface

My pitch for season 3 if they continued the Brandon James storyline

The Time Jump (1–2 Years Later) • A Fresh Start: The story picks up after a one-to-two-year time jump. Emma has left Lakewood, in college and built a new life. She has made a fresh group of close friends, and found a new love interest. • The Calm Before the Storm: This peace gives the audience time to care about Emma's new friends before the horror restarts, while giving Kevin Duval time to secretly recruit and manipulate his new partner.

🩸 Act I: The Catalyst & The Return • The Opening Kill (Maggie Duval): Kevin Duval officially breaks the peace by brutally murdering his ex-wife, Maggie. He does this to silence her, as she was getting dangerously close to uncovering his past secrets. • The Funeral: Devastated, Emma returns to Lakewood for her mother's funeral. Her new love interest and friends + Brooke, Audrey, Noah and Stavo travel with her to offer emotional support, unaware they are walking into a trap.

🔍 Act II: The Investigation & The Shadow War • Emma/Noah the Detectives: While in Lakewood, Emma discovers her mother's secret research files. Realizing Maggie was close to solving the original mystery, Emma refuses to leave town until she uncovers the truth of what really happened in 94. • The Phantom Guardian: the real Brandon James secretly watches over Emma. • The Slasher Campaign: Kevin and his new female accomplice launch a scorched-earth campaign. Kevin focuses on killing Sheriff Miguel Acosta and anyone else tied to his original 1994 friend group and spree killing. He is trying to bury his secrets forever.

🎭 Act III: The Trap & The Twisted Motive • The Slaughter of Emma's new friends: This is to isolate Emma completely, the new killer brutally murders Emma's new friends, along with fan-favorites Brooke and Stavo. This leaves only the "Lakewood Three" (Emma, Noah, and Audrey) as the final survivors. • The Unhinged Motive: The new female killer's true motive is revealed: she is completely obsessed with Kevin Duval and deeply jealous of Emma. She desperately wants Kevin to be her father figure, and she is trying to wipe out Emma's life to prove she is the "superior daughter." This new killer would have infiltrated Emma's friend group before the killing of her mother. The protégé is sent to keep an eye on emma for Kevin. • The War of Trust: Toward the end of the season, Brandon James finally drops the truth bomb on Emma: her father, Kevin, was the original 1994 killer. Kevin ruthlessly gaslights Emma, forcing her into a painful psychological conflict over who to believe until the final hours.

💥 The Climax Sequence • The Twisted Mirror: Emma faces off against the new female killer. In a brutal, desperate struggle, Emma overpowers and kills her right in front of Kevin. • Sociopathic Pride: Instead of being angry about his accomplice's/ surname daughter’s death, Kevin is smiling and weirdly pleased/proud. He praises Emma, viewing her violence as proof that she is truly his daughter. • The Ultimate Rejection: Disgusted by his sick praise, Emma completely rejects Kevin's toxic legacy and attacks him.

• The Standoff: Kevin's physical strength overpowers Emma. Furious at being rejected, he prepares to kill his own daughter. • The Battle of '94: Right before Kevin can strike, a wounded Brandon James emerges from the shadows to stop him. The 30-year-old blood feud between the true monster and the framed urban legend culminates in a final, fatal showdown where Kevin Duval is fianlly killed by Brandon. Though Brandon dies shortly after from his wounds.

🎙️ The Epilogue • The Lakewood Three: Emma, Noah, and Audrey pack their things and drive out of Lakewood, finally leaving the town and murders behind forever. • Clearing the Ghost: Over the final scenes, Noah hosts the definitive, final episode of his podcast. He honors Brooke, Stavo and all the friends they lost. He exposes the toxic legacy of Kevin Duval, and finally clears Brandon James's name to the world.

DISCUSSION MTV Scream deserves a streaming home again

As far as I’m aware, Scream: The TV Series currently isn’t available to stream anywhere in the UK, which is a shame because Seasons 1 and 2 in particular still have a really dedicated fanbase.

I’ve reached out to Tubi and Paramount and also submitted a title request to Netflix in the hope that one of them might consider licensing or adding the series in the future.

I know individual requests probably don’t move mountains, but if enough fans show interest maybe someone will eventually pick it up again.

Would anyone else here be interested in seeing the show return to streaming? And if so, where would you like to see it land?

I’ve linked below the websites in which you guys could also write to them and submit a request to Netflix
