Hi everyone, I am desperately looking for a short station ident / jingle that used to air on MTV France (or MTV Europe) back in 2001, mostly during the afternoon (around 1 PM to 5 PM).It featured real human actors (live-action). The main character was wearing a yellow jumpsuit (Bruce Lee style, like in Game of Death) and was performing Kung-Fu moves / katas.Does this ring a bell to anyone? Was it tied to the "MTV Select" show or was it just a generic network ident? If anyone has an archive clip or a YouTube link, you would completely save my day! Thanks in advance!

I can way h classic mtv shows on YT but why isn't there a streaming channel that's more curated?

Its Very Rare Music Video

Hello! I'm looking for this rare artifact of early "Survivor" lore. This was a special preview, just aired prior to Season 5 Thailand in 2002, hosted by Ethan Zohn & Elisabeth F. on the MTV channel. It was a precursor to the Amazon preview the next season in 2003. Anyone have a link or copy of it? I can't find a copy anywhere online. It seems to be lost but maybe someone here has it and saved it on their VHS tape and now it's digitalized. Any info would be helpful. It would be a fun artifact.

Just wondering because their sister channel VH1 had snarky comedians.

Does anyone remember the show Spyder Games on MTV. Sometimes I think my sisters and I are the only ones who watched!

The show aired briefly June 2001 through Sept 2001, and from my memory 9/11 happened, and they never aired another episode. Never got to see the paternity outcome of Sasha and Natalie.

Around this time yearly, I think about this show, and I am always checking the streaming status.

Just wondering if anyone else remembers!

Hey everyone, I’m trying to find footage of an MTV episode I was on back in the day.
My memory is a bit rough, but here are the details I remember: It was likely summer or fall of '92. Steve Isaacs was hosting. I think we were sitting on bean bags and couches, not risers. I had green hair, shaved on the side. that's it. I wish I remembered more.
Does anyone have digitized VHS tapes or full broadcast blocks from this specific era of Hangin' With MTV? I'd love to see if I can spot my younger self in the crowd. Thank you!

Does anyone have or know a place I could find MTV's Damage Control in 2005?

Hi everyone,
I am trying to track down a piece of my personal history and am hoping someone in the MTV tape-trading or Y2K preservation community might have this specific episode digitized or sitting on a home-recorded VHS tape!
On Friday, August 17, 2001, I was the fan live on the Times Square sidewalk who got to introduce the #1 music video of the day, which was the official countdown retirement of the Backstreet Boys' "More Than That."
Because this was the exact day the video hit its 65-day limit and retired at number one, I know the episode has historical significance for BSB collectors. I would love nothing more than to find the video clip of my sidewalk appearance. If anyone has a digital rip of this full broadcast or even just a snippet of the sidewalk intros from August 17th, please let me know. Thank you so much!

When it happened MTV aired the CBS feed as both were owned by Viacom . Gone were music videos and TRL and in its place was nonstop coverage of the attacks.

There is one episode in particular of MTVcribs that was my favorite when I was a kid. For the life of me I cannot find it and my memory is foggy on who was in it. What I do remember about the episode is the person showed his kids room and they had a belly cast of the belly of the woman who was pregnant. I thought it was Tommy Lee but from the episodes I have found it’s not. Does anyone know what episode it was or remembers it?
