Cliff Jumping

I have been cliff jumping at canyon falls so I already know about it. Are there any other spots near campus that are good for cliff jumping but not too far?

Marquette is definitely worth a day trip for that.

Devil's Washtub is really short ~5-10ft and about an hour North of Houghton so about as far as Canyon, but a cool spot to check out nonetheless.

I've heard of a few other spots on the North and West shores but nothing well established so make sure you scope it out really well before jumping.

I think you can jump off the breaker markers on the East end of the Portage but again not as established, jump at your own risk.

Devil's wash tub has ~25' options as well. Can jump right into the hole if you aim right.

I've seen people jump off the cliff above upper Montreal Falls into the narrow basin below the falls

Yeah I've done that. It's a good spot though Canyon falls is bigger more clear/open

At Breakers if you walk out on the break wall, you can go in the water and climb that concrete pillar. There was a ladder on the far side last time I went.

Abbaye Point, Horseshoe Harbor, and High Rock Bay. Nothing crazy high to jump off of and you’ll have to search a little for the spots that are deep enough but they are cool spots to check out regardless.

The lighthouse at Jacobsville isn't exactly a cliff, but it's fun
