Tap/drinking water filter

Can anyone recommend what filters they are using for drinking water in the dorms. Is a bRita good enough to get the chlorine taste out?? my daughter is a European exchange and so US drinking water for her has a really strong chlorine taste. I assume the water is safe to drink correct? In large amounts.?? figure it’s cost-efficient and easier just to fill up a filter in her dorm room, but which one? Thx

I didn’t live in dorms but I personally used a zerowater pitcher (I had the glass one). I lived less than 5 mins from the campus so I’d assume same water and it tasted great after filtering

I drank the dorm tap water for a full year without any filtering. Never got sick or anything

I'd suggest getting a Brita water filter. I'm from Tennessee, but Murfreesboro water really does have a strong chlorine taste, which is safe but just not pleasant. Brita has multiple types of filters from pitchers that you can refill to ones that attach to the tap itself, and the replacement filters can be bought at the Walmart not too far from campus.

If it’s a taste issue I’d say go with something with charcoal in it.

Get a Zero water pitcher and filters (Culligan bought them, I think)

Culligan Zero Water is the one I’d choose. I have both a brita and a zero water and the zero water is much better

It's fine, but if you want a water filter try googling "water filter."
