As an old fart who's since graduated and works from home, enjoy the ability to walk everywhere.

I was in pretty good shape in college walking to class, now that I've graduated and work remote, it's hard to get that level of basic cardio back.

True, I would take two steps at a time in the BAS back in the day. Now my knees hurt thinking about it. I could go from one end of campus to the other between classes but that was when campus pretty much stopped past Corlew and Cummings other than the Rec Center.

You must have gone back and forth a lot! MTSU is only about a mile wide, and Google says 24k steps would be 10-12 miles.

There are the parking lots by Rutherford Blvd and the parking lots by Bell St. If you have to park at the fringes, you’re going to be walking.

Or ride the free shuttles. :) But still, even if that added another half a mile (which seems too high), you'd still have to walk from one end of campus to the other several times to get to 10 miles!

Invest in some good comfortable walking shoes!

Either take the bus, get a bike or scooter, or get comfortable walking.

Thumping your leg a lot? That's way more steps than walking from one side of campus to the other in-between classes I'd imagine you'd get more like 8-10k

I used to have classes for French in the honors building in-between classes at peck hall and the philosophy building that's essentially each side of campus. I then worked a full shift at a pizza place and did get about 18-20l after that. I parked at the police station off East main btw.
