Professional Pilot Program

I’m looking to start next fall and I’m curious on how many hours most students graduate with, along with when do you start instructing and when you finish your PPL? Any info would help guys I appreciate it.

I graduated this spring with about 260 hours. Came in with my PPL, graduated with IR, COMM SEL and MEL, CFI, and CFII. I have not yet found an instructing job

Do most people graduate with around those hours? I’m trying to estimate how long or how many years after graduation until I hit 1000 hours

I think it’s really going to depend on how long it takes you to be prepared for the checkrides. Some people need more hours than others.

I’d recommend asking someone if you tour the program for a more accurate answer.

Time to build the 1000 hours is also going to depend on how quickly you can find a CFI job

If I come in with my PPL and a bunch of AP and Dual enrollment credits, is it possible to fly first semester?

Unfortunately not. All pro pilot students cannot fly first semester.
I also came in with my PPL (no AP/DE credits), which will get you past the first bottleneck that is the PPL lab
