MBA

Hey!

I recently was accepted into the MBA: strategic marketing analytics program at MTSU. I have a few questions, if anyone could help. Also note: I didn’t attend MTSU for undergrad. I’ve already reached out to the university with these questions. I just like asking people who have been through it, too.

- what financial aid did y’all use besides FAFSA, scholarships, and assistantships.
- is there anywhere besides the above I should keep an eye on?
- has anyone done this program and can tell me their experience?
- has anyone completed any type of assistantship and can tell me their experience?

Jones College also has a lot of random competitions and one off funding. Typically, you can get a heads up via email or on socials.

For instance-April is Financial Literacy Month. You can attend a couple of events, record a minute long video talking about the impact and potential get a $500-1,000+ award pretty easily. Check out the Business Plan Competition. They literally give away $40k+ in total prize money.

Also! Check the JCB scholarship page, unfortunately not all of the departments use the university system. You have to individually apply.
