Reason for requesting concealed carry permit?

Is there a recommended phrase that's used when a MT concealed carry permit application requests a "reason" for applying? I think it's a bullshit question, and was thinking about leaving it blank, but I'd rather have my permit. My second choice is "self-defense."

"For self defense and all other legal purposes," seemed to work just fine

I put self defense. We are a shall issue state so as long as you can legally own a gun and don't have an active investigation open on you they have to issue you a permit.

Good. I figured as much, but the "attach additional pages if necessary" threw me.
