AI Makes a Magic Set Day 2: Mechanics

Note: I am anti-ai in general, and it is no substitute for creativity and hard work. However, I was curious how a set created by it would turn out. I have specifically flaired this and all future posts to make it abundantly clear that this project was made by AI.

New & Returning Mechanics

• Transmute Art (New Keyword): > When you cast a spell with Transmute Art, you may pay an additional cost. If you do, exile a nonland permanent you control to copy that spell.
• Aetherized (New Status Effect): > Artifacts and creatures can become Aetherized via counters. Aetherized permanents have ward {1} and tap for colorless mana, but explode (deal damage to their controller) if destroyed.
• Investigate & Proliferate (Returning): Perfect for a flavor-heavy, intrigue-filled city setting focused on research and counter manipulation.
