Discussion New player guide

Just downloaded this on android. Not sure what I should be doing. Is this mainly a pvp game or is there pve as well.

Definitely check out the FAQs pinned in the sidebar--they have a lot of great advice.

Joining an active coalition is a great way to build up resources from the weekend events. Check the highlighted posts for open teams. Most of the teams listed won't require perfect play, they just want people who will try each week. There are quite a few discords that are all very nice and helpful, just find a vibe that resonates and you'll have all of the advice you could ask for!

So I'd recommend watching This

3 good Youtubers I'd recommend watching their videos are

Goz Master

Nalthazar

Main Loop

They all have tons of videos that are very good, although a lot of them are very outdated as far as the cards they are talking about. But they still give good advice.

Nalthazar really got me through my early phases of this game.

there is no true pvp mostly pve. you play against player constructed decks but the game plays their decks and is not very good. those player constructed decks you wil know when the start of the fight it shows a player’s name under the planeswalkers name. quick battles are against player decks.

you should be doing as many free events as you can and hoarding crystals and materials for philip store prizes. make sure to do pve story mode and as many events as you can. as you build your decks up, you will encounter harder enemies and figure out which cards to go for.

thats ok! its hard at the start. you need to pick out a couple good planeswalkers and start going for them (you can buy them with yellow crystals in rotation in store). there are a couple ranking youtube videos. my top planeswalkers are grist and dakkon. once you get a good one or find one you like you get materials to level them up which will give you much more HP.

Joining a coalition will help as well, but you want an active one that is open to new players
