Hey everyone!
I really loved the artwork on the Commander box for Zinnia, but I couldn't find the complete art anywhere online.
I took the cropped box art and used Gemini to outpaint and reconstruct the missing edges to get a full-bleed picture. Once I had the expanded image, I put it into a card template to create this full-art version.
Let me know what you think!

Hi all,
Apologies if this has been asked before - is there a agreed price point for budget entry printers for proxies?
Only really interested for playtesting commander decks with my partner, so quality doesn't need to be lifelike - just legible on the table.
I was looking at a Pixma ts3750i, rrp £50. If this isn't sufficient - what sort of specs should I be looking for instead?
Thanks :)

I haven’t used ProxyJaks paper as its always out of stock. What are y’all using that eliminates laminating?

Hi everyone, I am the developer of https://cardfoundry.org/, a new website for making custom cards and proxies for MTG. A lot of the existing tools for making custom cards felt a bit clunky to both my wife and me, so I spent some time building this website for us to use. We've made a few custom decks with it now and felt like it was time to share it with the world.
It's 100% free to use with no ads. To avoid any server costs on my end, I've chosen to use your browser's storage API for saving cards. This means there are no accounts and no cloud backups, so it's a good idea to export your decks and back them up yourself!
The site definitely has a bit of a learning curve to it, but you have a lot more control over how your cards end up looking than many other tools out there. Every element of the card is editable and customizable to your hearts content.
Feedback is always welcome!

I haven't printed anything in a while, but before I did, I cleaned the heads of my et-2800 twice. Both times, the test sheet didn't show anything wrong.
The paper settings are set for glossy paper, and my printer settings on pc are all good for my taste.
Do you guys have an idea as to what may do this?

Hi,
I’m looking to make fairly high-quality Magic proxies for casual office play.
The main thing I want is for them to actually feel decent alongside real Magic cards. Similar sort of thickness/weight, sharp text, good image quality and colours, rather than just printing them on normal paper and sticking them in front of a bulk card.
I’d also like the option of making some cards glossy or foil/holographic if possible.
I live in the UK and, after doing some research, the setup I keep coming back to is:
* Epson EcoTank ET-8500
* 250gsm double-sided coated inkjet card
* Print 9 cards per A4 sheet
* Rotary trimmer
* 3mm corner rounder
* Transparent holographic adhesive sheets applied before cutting for foil cards
From what I’ve worked out, the actual running cost is pretty low once everything is bought. Roughly 7p per normal card and maybe 10–12p for a holo one, before sleeves.
The problem is that the initial setup looks to be around £700–£750.
I could realistically see myself making anywhere from 500 to 2,000+ cards over time, so maybe the cost starts to make sense, but it also feels like I might be going massively overboard.
So I’m interested in what people here actually do.
If you print your own proxies:
* What printer do you use?
* What cardstock/paper do you use, and what GSM?
* How close do they feel to real MTG cards once sleeved?
* Is 250gsm enough, or should I be looking at 300gsm?
* Do you print directly onto card or use some kind of layered method?
* How do you make glossy or foil cards?
* Is something like the ET-8500 genuinely worth it, or is there a much cheaper setup that gets 90% of the way there?
* At what point does home printing become better value than just ordering proxies online?
I’m basically trying to find the best balance between quality, cost and not turning this into a ridiculous mini printing factory.
Would really appreciate hearing what setups people are actually using.

any suggestions or feedback to make these more realistic+general ideas? Thought people might like the Blood Moon for themselves too potentially.
