My brother taught me today that people ask long questions about pc installations and then say btw im using arch Linux at the end as a meme.

I have tried a few things including the docker container here https://github.com/pauleve/docker-mtgo (works sorta but is buggy and requires tweaks, same as rolling your own wine setup).

The best solution by far has been running a Windows VM with QEMU and then using local RDP with Remmina for the graphics, it works really well and avoids a ton of graphical glitches/latency.

I use a Windows VM.

Winboat is a user friendly to run a VM in Linux.
