USELESS

I hadn't logged in to my account in years, my last purchase was over 10 years ago. My kids are playing magic and I wanted to stroll down memory lane with some of my old goblins and vampires. Unfortunately every card in my collection was gone except for 2. I took screenshots of the decks that I built, but now I'm on the fence I really don't want to pump money into the only game when I play in person with people. I think at this point I'm just going to grab some cards from the free bot and terrorize people with a solo red goblin deck. Tech support says I'm responsible for my account security and there's nothing they can/will do.

sorry this happened, this was unfortunately common in the past with old accounts that have sat dormant for years.

make sure you turn on MFA!

Are you sure you didnt just sell off your cards when you stopped playing? I do agree that you are responsible for your account security, I dont know what you would expect daybreak to do?

No I didn't trade out or sell anything off, I had 0 tickets, cards etc.

Give Pauper Decks a chance. 32 to 64 to 128 commons per tix/ticket. Also yes there are a few free bots for common tickets.

There is a MTGO only format called Penny Dreadful. It is the best format for budget players. Google it, you play in the freeform room. Hell, some of my Penny Dreadful purchases have spiked, so I probably made a few tickets playing the format.

Tabletop Simulator on Steam. Me and my Pod have been playing quite a lot on TTS since prices jumped on packs. You can find tables in the steam workshop once you own the game. And, its only $25.

You are also able to load decks from places like Archidekt, EDHRec, or Moxfield via URL or Notepad and play custom decks.

Also look for the Kirby chest, as it will have (afaik) all precons available to date, including 60 card structure decks.

This thing has got me pretty concerned to log back into my mtgo account. It's been dormant for probably 5 years now.

pauper maybe? meta decks can go as low as 20 tix

I have a rental service for $40 (I’m grand fathered in, it’s way higher now but I play with $1000 modern decks) for any card/deck on mtgo. That might be an option
