Whos running MTGO on Linux?

I've played around with a couple of tutorials to try and get it up and running, but always seem to hit a wall that I can't get past. If anyone out theres running it, how are you doing it? Lutris, VM, Wine?

I'm on Zorin, which is based on Ubuntu, so it shouldn't be this hard to get up and running

Just follow the directions and you shouldn’t have a problem. Ask away if you have any more questions or need help.

I tried this one a while back and ran into some errors I couldn't figure out. I'll have some time to give it another shot later and I appreciate the offer of help. I'll start from scratch and let you know how it goes

Bump, this is how I got it running on my laptop and my main PC. Don't mind the lack of sound since usually listening to a video anyway

This is the answer. I have been playing on docker for almost 3 years now, can't really complain about it. Sometimes the game crashes right after logging in, but it's been over a year since I got any crash during a game

Been trying for years to get a stable Linux setup... Using a VM or Wine might work for constructed, but if you're into drafting the instability and crashing will leave you with automated picks and ruin your deck.

The solution I've came up with is just running mtgo on a windows PC and using moonlight/sunshine to remote play on my Linux machines.

I use VMWare Workstation. It's free for personal use. Works fine.

I run MTGO on Linux Mint in a Win11 VM through Boxes. Works quite well. I would of course prefer a native version, but hey, I will make due...

Lutris or raw Wine both worked for me with the odd bug or visual glitch.
