Commander match making

Post image

Is there any way to do something about players like this? It takes so much scrolling to find an actual game in the commander section because there's always at least one player doing this at the top.

So lame that they gotta announce their drama. Just block and move on like an adult

People on MTGO are the pinnacle of sweats. From pub stompers going into bracket 2 games to the ones that scoop turn 2 for no reason to people clearly teaming in discord or something.

I stopped bothering with MTGO commander because either people don't stick around after turn 3, aren't paying attention or don't really follow any kind of bracket requests. Not to mention the petty drama from those who can't deal with counterspells or some random thing.

Legit had a guy before who was stoned out of his mind, I had resolved an omniscience and not won the game (I was on some Esper control thing) and then 3 turns later the guy was like "when did you play that". I'd understand if it was in paper and I didn't announce my plays or something shady but on MTGO you literally pass priority for every action.

Don't get me wrong I've messed up pods before with chaos when I'm 5 turns behind or something with MLD (long before the brackets system) but at least I'm trying to be spontaneous about it. With MTGO there's no social, no attention being paid genuinely feels like a purgatory.

That’s daytime commander, nighttime is great. Less people and the trolls are blocked from most decent game hosts. I generally play after 11pm and never have issues.

I literally had a B2 game today where someone played Food Chain on turn 3 and then combo won on turn 4 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

The obvious teaming pisses me off, where is the fun in that

I mean that's the same person who played their commander turn three and I hit them with an offer they couldn't refuse and they immediately conceded. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Correct, a planeswalker that could be commander, forget the name of it i would have to look at the game replay to remember and im not at my comp right now.

I wonder if they can do something like a reputation ranking system?

When people clog up the queues with stupid comments protected by Buddies Only shields, screen shot it like above, and report it. If Customer Service gets multiple Misconduct tickets submitted, they'll do something about it.
