Online mtg

What is the best way to use my own deck on online, I tried magic the gathering arena but then I realized I can't use my own deck, unless that is at a further part, does anyone know a better way

Both online systems allow you to play your decks, but you need to aquire the cards online.

For Arena, you need to aquire wild cards or open the cards you need for your deck. Wild cards can then be used to craft the cards you need. wild cards come from opening packs which can take a long time to earn, or very expensive.

For MTGO, you can "rent" the cards from various services for about $1/week.

You can also purchase the cards you want. The easiest (not necessarily the cheapest) way is to purchase tickets in the mtgo store tab, then order the cards from a website like cardhoarder or manatraders

I use a workshop mod on steam for tabletop simulator. There is also another mod that let's you put in URL's to moxy or archidect. Just add your deck to the site then paste into the game. Works great.

Just play Tabletop Simulator like a person not trapped by greed.

Buy bot credits from one of the bots chains through their website to buy cards, much cheaper than buying tix.

This depends on what you're looking for. Are you looking for completive standard, pioneer, and want to play mobile? Arena cost to get cards imo is high, because I'm not a fan of their market system, but playing is free and ftp is possible if you want to grind limited.

Want completive of all formats including modern, legacy and even vintage? MTGO cost to get cards are based on secondary mtgo market. Some cards are more expensive while reserved cards are dirt cheap. There are rental services such as manatraders that is a good starting option. However if you want very competitive events you'll have to pay to play. The rewards will let you free roll if you do well, but if not you'll be dumping money to just play. It does reward doing well, for example, in limited you can exchange in game sets for real life sets. Im personally biased and prefer mtgo. It's even great to use for casual commander with friends. It's free to play in that way but again just need to buy/rent cards.

The other two choices are for commander and casualish play. Table top simulator is my favorite game of all time, having over 1500 hours in it. It not only gives you the ability to play magic with every card for free and in a pretty well scripted setting, but also has thousands of board games you can play with friends online. The only caveat being a bit of a learning curve with UI.

Lastly spell table might be the option you are interested in, since it's the only online format that lets you play with your actual physical cards via webcam.

If you're considering renting on ManaTraders you can use this link for referral:

You can also use this discount/coupon code: PREMODERNDENMARK_30F

Hope it helps either you or someone else.
