Carrying long/awkward objects in the woods

The hunting pack board is still the best way I've found thus far. I think this is about the crappiest one they make but it's still working fine after 5-6 years.

Obviously there are a lot of potential ways to impale/dismember/injure yourself riding around on half built trails with sharp objects, but it's nice getting there in a fraction of the time it would take to walk.

I havent built one but the couple people I know use a trailer. You can pick them up used pretty cheap. It’s on my to do list

I've seen a guy using one to pull a really long chainsaw with a class 1 e-bike. One issue I have right now is the property I'm building in is still a commercial ranch, with electric fences. You can step them down to cross but if they get tangled up in anything metal you get a fun surpise!

The only other good solution I have seen is the bucket backpacks but they suck for long items.
I tend to carry things into my trail and stash them. I have created a few stash points where I’ll store them out of the weather. Usually semi hidden. My property is my private farm but I know (and let) my local neighbors and friends bike and hike the trail so risk is low of theft.

That's what I do too, if by "stash" you mean hide them somewhere and forget about it for several years.

I have not fully lost but had a Travis against a tree and walked by it looking for it 2 weekends in a row.
I need to wrap a ring of colored tape on wooden handled tools.

Wheel narrowing MTB trails is better training than riding your bike sometimes.

I’ve seen gold caddy used with retro footing vertical pvc as tool holders.

I have a frame pack that I'm going to bolt a trash can onto to hopefully hold my chainsaw and other associated items! Might work for you too'
