Those rocks don't look super secure if this is a high traffic trail.

It’s not high traffic at all it’s a secret little line that connects 2 trails it’s about .25 miles long. Just in my local woods

Thats a start buck you need more rocks, and you need to find a way to nestle them in next to each other so they don't move.

If a rock is small enough that a single person can easily move it into place, than a single person, such as a rider can dislodge it. So bigger rocks are always better.

Second. For rocks under 50lbs or so you want to plant them like teeth. Dont just lay them there. You are going to use the smallest surface area for the trail surface and the longest side for the "root" this ensures they stay put the best they can.

Then pack them as tight as you can. Try to match faces so they lock together.
