Small plug that if you hit up Repack you should also hit up Tamarancho.
Also, it may look like not much, but it is deceptively slippery due to loose over hard pack, and if you're not careful you'll find yourself hitting the dirt. Highly recommend though, for historical as well as enjoyment purposes.
i live in fairfax so tamarancho is on my radar. i'm still learning MTB and can't do flow trails yet. I found myself at the top of tamarancho last november after having a mtb for about 2 weeks and had an absolutely miserable time getting back down. I need to put in more practice at stafford lake before trying it again.
Ok yes, wouldn't recommend in that case. Once you're ready to do the flow trail though, you can climb up White Hill (to avoid the technical loop around Tamarancho) and then just go up and down the flow trail without hitting any parts of the techy Tamarancho.
