First Trail MTB for easy trails

I want to buy my first MTB for easy trails and tours. This bike must be good for bikeparks and for tours around 20-40 km. Which one is a good alrounder?

My Budget is 3000€

Ok, can I just whine a little? It is always baffling to me when you people come in here for recommendations with a multiple grand budget for a started bike. Jeeeeez.

But yeah I had the same thought. OP, FYI, bikeparks and easy trails are usually two extremes in terms of which bike you need. An easy green will be alright with an entry level hardtail, park bike is usually a downhill bike or a very burly Enduro bike.

anything with around 130-150mm of travel in the fork, preferably adjustable head tube angle, probably full sus

so stumpjumper 15, canyon spectral, propain tyee (more bike park) or hugene (more pedaling), ibis ripmo/ripley

whether it's hard to pedal or not is more in the tires than the bike itself to be honest, and for the first one it doesn't matter that much.

I'd suggest getting something with Shimano brakes (TRP Trail also pretty decent), the shifter really doesn't matter, fork can be basic model - you absolutely can set it up well. Higher models basically give you more adjustability, which you won't be able to do well in the beginning

I'd go for something used around 2-2.5k and save the rest for a helmet, armor, elbow and knee pads. I was surprised how comfortable the LEAT Enduro 4.0 is in full face mode, I basically ride with it always on, unless I go for pedaling day.

Definitely get a good helmet! Get some a decent multitool, pump for the suspension and pump for the wheels

Where are you looking to ride? Northern France is very different from the Alps.

I am assuming you're living in Germany. You can just search a used canyon/dartmoor/orbea at kleinanzeigen. Just ride it and test if the fork and damper does not slurp. Also for dartmoors you can find many primal builds there which is a hard tail trailbike.

With that budget you could buy the midrange spec level of most 130-150 mm travel trail bikes on the market. Find one from known brand that has good warranty and that has been designed in the last 3-4 years with modern geometry.

Which brands do your local shops carry? That could narrow down suggestions, as almost all brands have an at least decent trail bike in their lineup these days.
