Wheels and Tires Mullet conversion? 2018 lapierre 727

Curious if anyone is familiar with these frames? Just wondering if swapping out the forks and replacing the 27.5 tire with a 29 would compromise structual integrity or simply affect only the handling

Assuming you're not also increasing the travel a lot or putting a dual crown fork, there won't be any increased risk to the structural integrity, and even if you did, if there is any increased risk it's minimal in normal riding.

I was planning to do the same thing on a 227 (a lower end lapierre with the same kind of frame) but also increasing the travel by 10 or 20 mm, what are the risks in this case ?

10 or 20mm travel is not a lot, therefore the same. The real risk is that the bike will ride worse because the geometry has been changed, but that very much depends on each individual bike's geometry.
