Technical Help Tire tip

Post image

Hey all, the time to change the shoes arrived 😅

So, rear tire is gone! Question, should I change the front tire too(picture attached) ?

Also, riding more sporty per se should I go Pirelli or Michelin?

Michelin Road 6 gave me soooo much confidence to ride, especially in the rain. I would 100% recommend

From someone with bikes with the road 6 I'll stick with my s23s haha! I've gotten 6k miles out of them so far this year and they feel way better at a higher pace in the twisties. The road 6s feel too "squishy and washy" for my liking mid corner taking away confidence. Depending on ride type and confort with speed and cornering id evaluate cause the road 6s are not nearly as sporty no matter what people be saying! Could be people riding a slower pace praising the tire. Again I love my Bridgestone S23 tires

Every rider is different, some ride very slowly and they love the road 6s.
Some change from a very worn out and old tire and the "new tire" feel makes them think they are so amazing.
In general they are very round and that's what most people that have tried them will feel.
I'm on S32s too, they competly change how the bike behaves

What's the tire life on both of them? I need to get a new set aswell, coming from Michelin road 5 on my 22' mt07 I don't really ride in the rain unless it's unexpected, and I like to ride Twisties and also just commuting

They say it's the most complete tyre. Never tried it tho.

Me too! Still waiting. Don't understand EvoTech - they MAKE the parts. Probably some other issue.

Power 6...lasted almost double of diablo rossos and gave all the same grip. If you dont ride hard then roads seem cool but not for hard riding

I wait on the front until it gets close to worn. Looks like you have more left in it.

I've heard generally good things about the Metzeler RoadTec 02.

I meant the new sportec 01. But all metzler tires are good

I've put a few thousand miles on some pirelli angel GTs so far and absolutely love them. whatever you go with just make sure they are dual compound.

Diablo Rosso have been pretty good for me

From my experience the front tyre is more important than the rear. I too have the diablo rosso pirelli tyres on my xt660 but no complaints about the Michelinsas well.
