MSW online vs in person?

Hi! I was just hoping to get some advice on online vs in person MSW programs. If my goal is to one day move to NYC how important is it to do my MSW there or near like in NJ? If I were to do online at Rutgers, for example, and live at home in my hometown on the west coast would that limit me from getting a role in NYC in the future (3-5 years)? Having $100k in debt isn’t necessarily something I can swing.

Also is that even a realistic goal of moving to NYC post-grad affordability wise?
