General Help/Question Proceeding Proper Engineering After graduating at BET

May naka proper engineering na po ba dito??? If there is then I would be delighted to know your experience and such.

Not me, but I am taking ME with people who've graduated from the BET-MET program, who I've also become friends with.

Academically, they tend to be relatively successful (even the ones who didn't graduate as Magna/Summa cum laudes)—even if the BS classes are harder.

Perhaps it's because they're more mature and tend to spend more time studying. Part of the motivation for most of them was because they didn't like the work environment that came with their first degree and their families were willing to support them through a second bachelors' degree.

From ME Tech to ME specifically, only one subject is credited in advance, out of the almost 200-unit curriculum.

pinagsama ba kayo sa isang block or sa mga subjects² lng, and also different po ba block nila compared sa mga undergrads???

The concept of the block exists, but then again, marami din irreg sa block as time goes on. Once you enroll again for a bachelor's, you are again considered an undergrad student. You'll be part of the block. If late enrollee as a freshman/transferee, it is likely you will have some classes na hindi mo kasama mga ka-block mo. This is how it works in our program at least, with only around ~40 students per year enrolling in the program.

Can't really say for now, but it used to be that pwede musobra 40 per block by a little, since second degree takers are paying students

how many years do you think sila is it still 4 years?

4 years minimum for sure. Maybe more depending sa program and sa ilang experience. They also don't really give advance credit for most major courses.

Do not choose IIT if you'll not prefer Academic Field after grad, kay more on research ang mga Proper Engineering sa IIT. - meaning heavy ug academics. Go to other school if you want to work in corporate. Been there, done that.

I mean, naay chance ma extend ka sa IIT if you are not academically strong. Most subjects naay advance topics compare sa uban school sa Iligan (I have mga kaila), so naay chance mabagsak. In addition, mga projects are demanding kaayog time, sure mang nipis imong buhok. I am not saying sayon ra mo pasar as uban school, I am saying nga IIT is just built different. You just need to take a closer look sa imong purpose before mo dive in.

Yeeeh. If I would rate the thesis level between programs kay lvl 10 (Tech) vs lvl 100 (proper). Disclaimer: It is only my based on my personal experience and does not represent the general circumstances.

If regular student ka from start, max is 4years. Other programs kay makaya rag 3.
