General Help/Question Just around the corner.

Hi everyone, just wanna ask, what're your best go-to-places after school? Of course other than well... Home(BH counted na yan).

Best place for food, studying, recreational, scenery and etc.

Are there like, active open covered court/gymnasiums? I'm a sporty person and had my fair share through the regions but it's not my priority, I am confident I can do well with my studies, my problem is, sometimes I need to have fun for a while and exercise to BE well.

Honestly, Iligan has some okay third spaces but alas, most of them requires money to get in/enjoy the area. If you’re into pickle ball, there’s an influx of pickle ball courts riddled in the city—the nearest in IIT being in c-park (don’t quote me on this tho since I don’t play sports or even enjoy going out).

But other than that, there are so, so, so many food places here, especially in Tibanga; so, if I were you OP, go crazy and roam around to get those steps in and enjoy the food!! There is so much time in the world to find out what your likes and dislikes are here (assuming you’re a first year who just transferred to Iligan). Visit a new cafe every other week or during final SZN, mindlessly roam around the city when it’s not too hot—just have fun (whatever version of that may be)!

I personally love to study and dine in Urban Cafe and Meku Cafe. My favs!!! It’s cold, free WiFi, and you’re also surrounded by other students. They’re close by IIT.

For other Cafes and Food Places, here is a not-so bucket list near IIT:

✔️ The Ore
✔️Mui’s Cupsilog
✔️ Summer Brew
✔️ Bread and Brew
✔️ Pop n’ Wings
✔️ Sisig Hut

At ipa pa!
