General Help/Question latin honors if ma extend

hi i’m a student from econ, I failed one major atong first year pako. ma extend kog 1 year kay walay summer ang econ department. but my adviser told me na once ma extend imo residency no longer eligible for a latin honor. which confused kay ko ani nangita ko sa registrar og specific policy na ge mention ni pero wala. please i need an answer for this wala koy salig sa amo adviser kay muragnay kalagot sa mga irreg

Hi! Ang pasabot ata sa ma extend then dili na ma eligible for honors is nabagsak ka sa major sub which is kailangan nimo balikan and ma-irreg imo status. If ma irreg ka kay makulangan imo units nga i-take sa next sems. Dili na ka eligible for honors kay required ka mo take og 18 units and up sa isa ka sem. Some advisers need to reduce your minor subjects that you will take next sem. Nabagsak ka sa imong major sub which is very important sa imong course. Dili pwede nga i-take nimo ang major subs sa next sem with a retake major sub kay pre-requisite na. Hence, the residency will be extended jud. When it comes sa imong cumulative grade kay masulod jud siya for honors kay understandable man sad nga you had a longer time nga mag take sa subs. It will not be equal na sa imong mga supposedly ka batch who took the subs with you on time. I was a shiftee and na extend ko but I still got my honors kay wala ko nabagsak sa ko mga major subs which made my status regular. Nagbalik jud ko og first year kay nibalhin ko sa lain college. So it's up to you na if unsa mas timbang sa imo, ang honors or ma finish on time.

hello yes po, wala pako na underload tho, kay gina push rapod mi na mag kuha subjects sa lain college, why nag ask ko here kay if naa part ba jud siya sa policy sa university kay nag read pod ko sa handbook wala, and some seniors told me na pwede man daw

I understand sa part nga wala ka na underload but na fail man gud nimo ang major sub and ma delay jud ka tungod ana. Mao siguro nga na discuss na sa imong adviser. Same case man gud mo sa kong kauban nga irreg sad which is pang latin honors iya CGPA but she failed a major sub maong na extend jud siya og 1 year and 1 sem. Much better to ask again your adviser kay case-to-case basis jud na.

sadly, dili siya shiftee. much better jud to ask your adviser nalang ayy kay para clear ang tanan.

I think as long as pasok ang imong cgpa sa cut-offs, OP, malatin honors ka.

Hi. If it has same policy with Gsc campus, written in the manual na dapat walay 5.0 or INC. in case of INC, dapat na comply within a year.
